Max Talisman-Jones
I live in San Francisco. Photography became a hobby about a year and a half ago, when I started hiking a lot, and I wanted to remember some of the beautiful places I’ve seen. It gives me a nostalgic feeling when I see a good photo I took! I’m learning how to edit my work in Adobe Lightroom, and I enjoy sharing my photos with friends.
I’m really interested to learn how to take better close-up photos, and explore Sports photography next.

Landscape Photography
Landscape Photography is my favorite. I like taking photos of vast beautiful spaces, and little details. I feel very lucky that I live where I do – with so many opportunities to find amazing places not too far from home.

Nature Photography
Nature Photography: Animals, Plants, the world around us. I find inspiration in nature: I really love animals and taking pictures of them shows me what amazing features they have. Here are some of my best nature photographs.

Portraits/ People
Portraits (and people photography). I find this type of photography a lot more challenging than landscape. While Landscape always looks like it has been there forever, a person is always changing. I also find posing to the camera makes it harder for the person to look authentic. Most of the photos are from my summer camp, and my internship at Community Resource Initiative, where I met my friend Rigo.
